Short Bio
Adonis Antoniou, originally from Paphos, Cyprus, began his academic journey in 2003 when he was accepted as one of only seven students at the School of Dentistry at the University of Athens. After completing twenty-five months of military service, he commenced his studies in September 2005. During his time at the university, Adonis authored two publications in scientific journals and actively participated in multiple conferences. Following five years of clinical training, he graduated in July 2010 and began volunteering in the dental department of his hometown’s general hospital.
In 2011, Adonis relocated to the U.K., where he practiced dentistry for five years in Peterborough, Bristol, and Oxford, treating thousands of patients and establishing a reputation for high-quality care. He further specialized in 2012, focusing on the surgical placement and prosthetic rehabilitation of dental implants at Dentale Academy in Bristol under the guidance of esteemed oral surgeons.
Continuing his professional development, in 2024 Adonis completed a specialty program at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, concentrating on "Residual Alveolar Ridge Reconstruction, Pre-Prosthetic Oral Surgery, and Advanced Dental Implantology".
Since 2016, Adonis has resided in Athens with his wife and two children, operating his own dental practice. With a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and implantology, he remains dedicated to delivering excellent care through continuous education and investment in the latest dental technologies.
