  • Became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2011 (MRCOG);
  • Presented his work at various domestic and international conferences and training programmes;
  • Certified by the British Fertility Society for embryo transfers and assisted conception and management of the infertile couple (BFS)
  • Certified by the British Society of Colposcopies and Cervical pathology (BSCCP)
  • Certified with the European Inter-University Diploma of invasive endoscopic Surgery(DIUE) in Clermonte Ferrand, France;
  • 10 years of full time experience as a consultant in the field of assisted conception/infertility, both in the UK and Greece;
  • Since 2013 has been working in the private sector, in Athens;
  • Since 2015 , has been cooperating with the Fertility Specialists team of Institute of Life Fertility Centre in Athens, one of the biggest fertility centres in southern Europe;
  • Dr Karpouzis is the Scientific director and founder of Pelagos IVF, a unique medical group of specialists that offers holistic, all-inclusive services to couples who want to visit Greece for their subfertility, gynaecological and obstetrics treatment.
