  • Dr Ioannis Chatzistefanou MD, DDS, PhD, aFACS is the CEO and Clinical director of the O.M.S. Facial Aesthetics and O.M.S. Implant & Dental Center.

     

    Dr. Ioannis Chatzistefanou is a certified Maxillofacial surgeon, with a special interest in Face and Jaw Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery. During his training he gained broad experience in face and jaw surgery in some of the top health care systems worldwide (University of Maryland, USA, University College London UCLH, UK, etc.).

     

    Dr. Chatzistefanou is Lieutenant Colonel in Hellenic Army Medical Corps and serves as a maxillofacial consultant at the 424 Military Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece. He also part time Honorary Faculty Member at the Medical school of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with special interest the maxillofacial / head & neck oncology and reconstruction. Dr. Chatzistefanou is the director of the 2nd Maxillofacial Department of the Athens Medical Group, one of the most distinguished private health care providers in Greece.

     

    He has been awarded the "EXCELLENCE AWARD" of the Deanery of Health Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and specializes in facial 3D design and computer-guided surgery (IPS - Individual Patient Solutions).
