Short Bio
Dr. Sofia Symeonidou was born in Athens.
She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens.
During her studies, she was a grant holder of the State Scholarships Foundation.
She was trained in Dermatology – Venereology, occupying a paid position in Adenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, Canniesburn Hospital , Glasgow, UK where she has gained extensive experience in the use of dermatological lasers, the use of photodynamics (PTD) in the treatment of basal cell skin cancers and in Dermatosurgery.
She completed and received her specialty title at Andreas Sygros Hospital in Athens, in 1999.
To date, she has been actively involved in international and Greek seminars and conferences, with particular interest in the advanced anti-aging techniques.
She has great experience in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions, as well as in injectable fillers techniques, wrinkle relaxants treatments and in lasers and IPL systems. She runs her own private clinic in Voula, Athens.
