• Dr. Boukouvalas specialized in Plastic Surgery in the UK and California. He has many years of clinical experience and he is a member of “ISAPS”, “IPRAS”, “HESPRAS” and “EBOPRAS.

   

  He graduated from the American College "Anatolia" in Thessaloniki in 1979 and from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1985.
  Immediately after his studies, he began his training in the United Kingdom where he worked in various departments of Plastic Surgery such as “Charing Cross”, “Saint Thomas” and “Leicester Royal” which included both burn and reconstructive plastic surgery units.

   

  As part of his PhD in Microsurgery he worked at "Loma Linda" hospital in California.

   

  After that he returned to Great Britain at the famous plastic surgery unit «Canniesburn» in Glasgow, in «RoyalInfirmary» of Aberdeen and the «Royal Devor and Exeter» of Exeter.

   

  Further on, he achieved the prestigious “fellowship” appointment of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, based in “Wellington” Hospital of London and excelled as one of the 15 most eminent plastic surgeons.That included being the right hand man to the top Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons of London.

   

  He then returned to London to work privately for two years in Harley Street for a big Aesthetic Surgery Group as well as maintaining his work in his private office in Thessaloniki Greece.

   

  Upon his decision to work full time in Greece he founded a new office in Athens expanding his company ANAGENESIS. A few years later he has founded offices in the Southern and Northern suburbs of Athens (Glyfada - Kifisia) and later in Nicosia Cyprus

   

  He has an impressive career as an invited international speaker with numerous lectures & courses as well as countless medical publications. He is also appointed “Key Leading Oppinion” by Moller the German Power Assisted Liposuction device manufacturer .

   

  He has developed and refined various techniques in Aesthetic Surgery which are associated with his name such as the “Lazy S” incision in the arm lift operation and the “grail” technique in the inner thigh lift. He has also distinguished himself in Breast Surgery using the subfascial technique for breast augmentation and minimal scaring techniques for the Breast Uplift / Reduction (Periareolar, small vertical).

   

  Dr. Boukouvalas has been for many years a member of many plastic surgery international organizations such as «ISAPS», «IPRAS.», «ESPRAS.» And «HESPRAS».
