The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital is a dedicated children’s hospital located in the center of Athens. Since its establishment in 2002, distinguished physicians and qualified nursing staff have offered their services to over 45,000 inpatients and over 260,000 outpatients, with sensitivity and a deep sense of compassion. It offers a wide range of pediatric specialties and subspecialties through its departments and special units, such as Pediatrics, Pediatric Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Ear-Nose-Throat, Gastroenterology, Diabetes and more.
The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Dermatology Department strives for early diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions in young patients, from infants to adolescents. The Department specialists offer parents all the necessary information on how to properly care for their child’s skin, advice them on how to deal with certain chronic skin disorders, and provide information on sun protection and mole examination. The medical staff also focuses on the treatment of certain viral, parasitic and bacterial skin infections, as well as on the diagnosis and treatment of rashes due to various etiologies.
Hundreds of parents have entrusted their children to the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Cardiology Department since its establishment in 2002. It runs a regular Outpatient Clinic and can treat cardiology cases, in partnership with other Hospital departments if necessary. To date, the Department physicians have diagnosed a number of congenital and acquired heart defects and continue with regular follow-ups. Children who required pharmaceutical treatment and monitoring have been hospitalized within the Department.
Hematology – Oncology
The Hematology-Oncology Department offers comprehensive services by a specialist with long experience in the field of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Infections are the most frequent health problem that brings young patients to the outpatient clinic of our hospital. They are also the most frequent hospitalization causes among children of all ages. Despite the leaps and bounds in Medicine, the application of new diagnostic methods, and the use of antibiotics and vaccines, on many occasions, infections seem to trouble the international medical community.
Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic Surgery)
Minimally invasive surgical procedures are performed at the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital by surgery specialists who have the relevant training and use the latest medical equipment. Minimally invasive surgery uses techniques which reduce patient trauma as much as possible, offering multiple benefits compared to conventional surgery.
The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Ophthalmology Department has been operating since the establishment of the Hospital, in 2002. It is staffed by a team of specialists with top scientific training and experience on pediatric ophthalmology. It treats the entire range of ophthalmologic conditions in neonates, infants and children. Pediatric eye conditions differ greatly from those encountered in adults in terms of type, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Orthopedics Department has been operating since 2002, with the aim of caring for and treating children with congenital or acquired orthopedic disorders. Assisted by other specialties (such as radiology, ultrasounds, microbiology, and CT or MRI whenever necessary), the Department physicians achieve early and fast diagnosis of orthopedic conditions. The experienced nursing staff stand by young patients and offer top healthcare services and support, both to the children and their families.

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
A Department specializing in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery & Burns has been operating within the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital since 2006. It offers specialized services to young patients, focusing on treating trauma and burns, as well as correcting aesthetic problems in the most optimal and scientific manner.
Psychiatry & Psychology
At the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Outpatient Clinic, child psychologists and psychiatrists offer psychiatric support to children and adolescents, as well as their families, for problems that may affect their mental health. The Department physicians also work closely with other Euroclinic Children’s Hospital pediatricians and specialists (Liaison Psychiatry), so as to offer well-rounded psychological and psychiatric support to the hospitalized children and adolescents.

The Department is staffed by vastly experienced physicians of all levels and is equipped by the latest technology, so as to respond to all the challenges faced by modern medical practice. The Euroclinic Children’s Hospital Urology Department has been operating as an independent unit of the surgical sector since the Hospital’s establishment in 2002. The Department physicians examine children daily at the Outpatient Clinic, only by appointment. As for emergencies, the Pediatric Urology Department works closely with the Pediatric Surgery Department and the Pediatrics Clinic, ensuring the best possible diagnostic and therapeutic approach for patients with urological conditions.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
The Athens Euroclinic Intensive Care Unit is a Level III multidisciplinary ICU that can accommodate patients referred from all of the Hospital’s departments.
One-Day Clinic (ODC)
The Athens Euroclinic One-Day Clinic (ODC) is located on the 1st level of the main building and consists of two individual units: The One-Day Treatment unit (The Unit handles malignant tumor cases, in accordance with recognized quality healthcare standards. It is staffed by experienced and trained nurses, who have been certified in Cancer Nursing by the Hellenic Nurses Association (ΗΝΑ) and the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS)) and The One-Day Surgery unit (The One-Day Surgery unit has 4 rooms with 2 beds each. The Unit accommodates patients who undergo surgery, but only require a few hours hospitalization).
