Short Bio
She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She gained 5 years of experience in a professor's office of the Faculty of Dentistry of Thessaloniki, specializing in Pedodontics. She obtained a 3-year specialization in Aesthetic Dentistry in the postgraduate program "Dental Surgery - Conservative Aesthetic Restorations" and continued her doctoral studies at the University Clinic Justus-Liebig University of Giessen in Germany, obtaining the title of Dr. med. dent with the degree "magna cum laude." At the University Clinic, she is now working academically, teaching as a Research Associate and supervising research projects.
Since 2007 she has been actively participating in dental and medical conferences with scientific presentations both in Greece and abroad and she gives lectures on issues of Aesthetic Dentistry. She is actively involved in researching dental materials and has published research and clinical papers in Greek and foreign language journals. Her research interest is focused on dental biomaterials, how they can remain as a long-term dental restoration in the oral environment, and newer techniques, both in cosmetic dentistry and pedodontics.
She holds a Professional Licence in Greece and Germany, is a member of the Dental Association of Thessaloniki (R.N.: 3489), the Dental Association of Hessen in Germany (R.N.: 23295), a member of the DGZ Academy of Dentistry in Germany, a member of the World Academy of Pedodontics, a member of the Hellenic Pedodontic Society and the World Academy of Dental Research (IADR) (R.N.: 773323).
