  • Dr. Margarita Moustaki, a distinguished MD, MSc, and PhD, was born in New York with a global education and practice. Her formative years were spent in Athens, Greece, where she embarked on her medical journey at the prestigious National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Graduating in 2007, her dedication to enhancing her knowledge saw her immediately enroll at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Here, she augmented her clinical acumen with a Master's degree in Biostatistics.

     

    Furthering her academic career in conjunction with her training in General Surgery, Dr. Moustaki found her niche in the Laboratory of Experimental Surgery and Surgical Research "N.S. Christeas" at the University of Athens. Her groundbreaking experimental study on adipose-derived stem cells-assisted autologous fat transfer won her the distinction of a PhD degree in 2016, highlighting her commitment to pushing the boundaries of medical research.

     

    Pursuing her specialisation in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Moustaki relocated to the United Kingdom, where she honed her skills at the highly reputed Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital in London. This institution, renowned globally for its standards of excellence, provided her with comprehensive exposure to various facets of Plastic Surgery. Further focusing on burn treatments, she gained valuable experience at Whiston Hospital in Liverpool, a leading UK center for burns care.

     

    In 2017, Dr. Moustaki returned to her Greek roots, setting up her private practice, while also serving as a Plastic Surgery Consultant at the Attica General Hospital KAT until 2021. She remains committed to delivering advanced, safe aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery treatments to her patients.

     

    Known for her devotion to science and Plastic Surgery, Dr. Moustaki consistently seeks out opportunities for continuous training. Her meticulous attention to detail, an innate sense of aesthetic harmony, and an eye for natural-looking results underpin her reputation for excellence.
