Short Bio

  • Dr. Panagiotis Polyzos is a founding member and is currently active in the In Vitro Fertilization Unit of the Institute of Life & as a research associate & consultant in embryonic medicine at the IASO maternity hospital.

     

    Dr. Polyzos is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens.

     

    He worked as Curator of the Department Of Human Reproduction at Hammersmith University Hospital-London with the famous Prof. Lord Robert Winston, specialized in in vitro fertilization, fertility issues & laparoscopic-hysteroscopic surgery.

     

    He is particularly concerned with the treatment of gynecological problems related to infertility such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, etc., using modern high-level techniques.

     

    He served as Special Curator at Kings College Hospital-London at the Fetal Medicine Foundation with the world-renowned Prof. Kypros Nikolaides & specialized in embryonic medicine gaining extensive experience in obstetric & gynecological ultrasound, diagnostic procedures (amniocentesis, trophoblast biopsy, fetal blood sampling) & high risk obstetric pregnancies, etc.

     

    He is founding member of Institute of Life IVF unit.
